Product Development Engineering Intern

Job Description

TrackX Technology is looking to hire an undergraduate student for a full-time paid summer internship. TrackX is a medical device start-up company based out of Hillsborough, NC and founded by Dr. Rob Isaacs, former head of Duke Spine Surgery. The company’s small size grants opportunity for exposure to all aspects of a medical device company. The intern will be trained in product development which includes hardware, software, clinical and engineering related tasks.

Responsibilities
  • Assist in testing (hardware and software)
  • Assist in the design of solutions (hardware and software)
  • Assist in material generation and documentation maintenance
  • Review product issues and assist in necessary investigations
  • Fully complete projects and present to team as assigned
Requirements
  • Current undergraduate student in relevant engineering major
  • Graduation date no later than Dec. 2024
  • Ability to commute to Hillsborough, NC office daily
  • May 15 to August 18 (flexible)
  • 40 hours/week
  • Pay range: $15-$18/hr

Software Engineer [WPF/C#/.Net Framework]

Job Description

TrackX Technology, Inc. is seeking a full time Software Developer (WPF Desktop) in the RTP area. The successful candidate will work with our existing team on enhancements to FDA-approved medical-device standalone software along with a variety of support systems.

Responsibilities
  • Work with local development and test team to enhance FDA-approved medical-device
  • Enhance and develop support and diagnostic tools
  • Automate test and verification processes
Requirements
  • 4+ years of experience with Microsoft .Net C#/WPF desktop application development
  • Visual Studio 2019, Git and Azure Devops
  • .Net Core on Windows
  • Windows 10 embedded device deployment
